GDPR Regulations

On May 25th, 2018, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) replaced the 1995 EU Data Protection Directive. Arrivederci.me will adhere to these privacy regulations as a UK-based company.

Firebase Data Processing and Security

Arrivederci.me is developing within the security sphere of Google Firebase, which means Google acts as our data processor under GDPR and processes personal data on our behalf.

What Does This Mean for Your Data?

Any information you store using our Chrome Web Extension will be stored locally on your device and will only be available there, or inside your account via our web app (if you choose to import it), where it will be encrypted and secured using leading industry protocols (2048 Bit SSL Certificate Encryption and 256 Bit AES encryption for storage).

Your data stored with us will be encrypted and only accessible by you or your legal representative (our staff for example will not be able to read it).

Access to your account will be managed by two factor authentication so when you log in with a password, you will also need to confirm a second code sent to a different device (usually a text message to your mobile phone).
